FGLG is "an informal alliance of in-country teams and international partners currently active in ten countries. We try to connect those marginalised from forest governance to those controlling it, and to help both do things better". This Update covers the activities of FGLG in a number of current and future VPA partner countries.

The sixth update from the FGLG - an informal alliance of in-country groups and international partners currently active in eight African and three Asian countries. This update covers activities over the last year, impacts to date, the state of play in participating countries, and the path ahead, including focused studies, developing tactics and tools, holding learning events, and working as a group to effect change.

VPA can seek to improve the overall business environment for responsible small and medium forest enterprises, thereby helping to alleviate rural poverty through the promotion of jobs and growth based on the responsible use of natural resources.

The seventh update from the FGLG - an informal alliance of in-country groups and international partners active in Niger, Ghana, Cameroon, Uganda, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Indonesia, India and Vietnam. Some 15 new policy research outputs and tools and some 14 new press, TV and radio advocacy outputs have been produced.
